Grooming
Cozy Canine Camp offers professional grooming for all breeds of dogs and cats. Because grooming times may vary we encourage parents to schedule with the grooming manager directly. We understand that pets want to get back home after grooming so we try to schedule pets to drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon or drop off at lunch time and pick up at the end of the day. We offer potty breaks for the comfort of our grooming clients upon request. We can also groom your pet if he/she is staying with us for the day or overnight.
Our Classic Grooming Service is breed-specific and includes:
- Hand scissoring
- Fluff drying
- Undercoat removal
- Nail clipping
- Expressing anal glands
- Ear cleaning and/or plucking
- Bows and/or bandanas
Grooming Rates
We try to price by the individual dog. One Cocker Spaniel may take longer then another Cocker Spaniel so they would be priced accordingly. We offer a 15-20% discount for regularly kept grooming appointments. Please call for an estimate for your dog.
V.I.P. Grooming Service (very important puppy)
If your pet has a medical condition which makes grooming especially hard on him/her, we offer an express grooming service while you wait at an additional charge.
Extras
- Soft paws nail application - $20 for two paws, $30 for four paws
- Nail grinding - small $6, medium $8, large $10
- Choice of two Spa Treatments - $20
- "Kennel baths" - just to get the dirt off (this service is offered for boarding/day care only) - Small $15, Medium $20, Large $25, X-Large $30 - may not be suitable for all coat lengths
- Nail painting - $16
- Brushing teeth - $10
- Flea treatments - Varies w/size and condition of pet
- Potty breaks - $4
Flea Treatments
Any pet found to have fleas will be treated with either Capstar (oral medications which kills all fleas on the pet) or a pyrethrin based flea shampoo. Neither of these products have any residual effect. We recommend all pets be on a flea preventative prescribed by their veterinarian. They will then receive a soothing bath in Tropiclean oatmeal shampoo to aid in any flea dermatitis. Flea treatments are at the parent's expense.
